Today we mourn the loss of retired Sgt. Steve Taylor, aka "OT." Sgt. Taylor worked here 1999-2019 and spent the majority of that time as a School Resource Deputy for @NKCSchools. He positively impacted the lives of thousands of students & staff. Our condolences to his loved ones.

Yesterday, our dog teams, along with the Kearney PD K9, recertified in all of their skills. All the team did great, and we are thankful for our supportive friends like the folks pictured from Interstate Auto in Kearney for use of their storage lot! Thank you!

K9 Freyja has been a busy girl since she certified in her skills. Last night she located drugs and drug paraphernalia on two different traffic stops and helped locate two wanted people hiding from deputies just last night! Good girl! #thenoseknows
