Shortly the University of Split will publish a book by Nikola Djurek and Frank E. Blokland that combines elements from Frank’s calligraphy coursebook (1990), his PhD dissertation, with Nikola’s PhD dissertation on Croatian diacritics, plus his recent research on Croatian scripts.

On the evening of 19 December the Christmas Party of the Graphic Design department (dress code: ‘Christmassy Chique’) took place at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Guest of honor was DTL’s founder Dr. Frank E. Blokland, because of his 30-year lecturing jubilee at the KABK.
