To nip in the bud any and every possibility of flooding in Green Park, SFS Hauzkhas flats and nearby colonies, the pipes connecting the Green Park main and SFS flats across the Aurbindo Marg need to be thoroughly desilted, enlarged if recommended by engineers. These pipes were laid by DMRC but whom these were handed over they are not able to locate the concerned file.

Along with senior residents I inspected the ongoing work. For the first time after laying these pipes, they have been located which were buried in the ground since many decades.

I am determined to fix this problem for good.

@attorneybharti Thanks for this initiative and supervising this personally with multiple bodies PWD, MCD, DMRC for residents relief and ensure smooth water flow with no blockages. It was need of the hour to have a permanent solution for any future reoccurrence of water flooding in green park

I hope DGCA @DGCAIndia takes strict action against @airindia not just for this incident but to ensure they don’t repeat this in future. This is reality of @airindia my family suffered same fate in May’22 and I kept complaining, no respite or even acknowledgment from Air INDIA

Playing havoc with storage tanks. Many people have had to get their tanks cleaned due to this .
