Hello, my name is David Kapkamoi. I recently completed my degree in Education. I’m actively seeking job opportunities in Nairobi. I’m open to teaching, admin, customer service, or any role where I can contribute, learn and grow.
Baba Raila Odinga, may you rest well. To the family, your spouse Mama Ida Odinga and your children, my family and I join you in prayer during this difficult moment. My deepest sympathies to you and to the people of the Republic of Kenya.
The enigma Baba, the father of our democracy and a formidable hero of Kenya’s 2nd liberation, you stood tall and strong in intellect, knowledge and quest for democracy. You faced brutal regimes’ brutality, you were tortured, jailed, abducted and detained severally for Kenya. When the history of Africa’s Pan-Africanism is written, your chapter as the indefatigable lion of Africa will attract many readers.
You dedicated your life in the service of humanity: as a political activist, a Civil Servant, a University Lecturer, an MP, a Party Leader, a Cabinet Minister, a Prime Minister and many other fronts. On all these, your trail of success and impact remains indelible.
Kenyans will not only remember your craft in resilience, persistence and democratic values days on but also your voice during difficult moments.
It will be remembered that you were at the forefront in the fight for Kenya’s democracy and liberation of Kenya on many firsts. Most profoundly, Kenya’s multiparty democracy and the Constitution of Kenya 2010, a race you strongly stood in for and we the people of Kenya shall never forget.
Much as we have never been on the same political side, I have had a strong admiration of Raila Odinga's art of forming and sustaining a strong political party that survived 4 general elections. I remain amazed by his choice of quality legislators to fly the party flag and eloquently articulate party policies and the people they represented.
You are a hero celebrated home and away; you have not gone Raila Odinga, you have just faded away.
Rest in peace Baba and may perpetual light shine upon you forever.

The rubbish we tolerate as Kenyans. Footbridges turned into markets by boda riders and hawkers. Bridges are for pedestrians. Where is KeNHA? Where is Kanjo? Clear them. We need sanity on our roads.
Senator , my academic papers are within the precincts of Parliament ( Hansard and committee reports ) and submitted to the vetting committee of the National Assembly twice . Discuss substance not personalities . I will always have respect for Parliament and its leadership . My focus is on Health reforms . Period
Today, I joined First Lady @MamaRachelRuto, former Prime Minister @RailaOdinga, and loved ones at Naishola Gardens, Limuru, to celebrate the joyous union of Nicole Chepkoech Langat and Brian Kipkoech Belio.
I am honored to wish the beautiful couple a lifetime of love, happiness, peace, and divine favor as they begin this new journey together. Congratulations, Nicole and Brian!
DOUBLE TRAGEDY FOR LUANDA BODA BODA CHAMA
Luanda Bodaboda riders took quick action and burnt a Nissan that knocked down a fellow bodaboda rider who died on the spot.
After the vehicle was completely burnt, they were later informed that the vehicle was theirs (ile chama ya wanabodaboda walinunua) and it had just landed from Mombasa.
Double tragedy.
It was an exciting day at Citam, Nyeri during the CITAM Business Forum Expo. The forum that brought together Business People and Entrepreneurs gave participants an opportunity to learn and exhibit their products.
Africa must adopt the view of having wealth as capital to do more production, innovation and expansion.
Nyeri Town MP, Hon Duncan Mathenge (DMM) who is also a Member of CITAM Nyeri attended. Dr Wale Akinyemi gave an exemplary talk.
We are African and Africa is our Business..
In the 80’s at the University of Nairobi's Literature Department, there was great debate on what defines a great work of Art.
One group led by Prof. Chris Wanjala emphatically argued that a great work of art was informed by CONTENT or rather what you say.
On the other end, Prof Henry Indangasi led the group that said a great piece of art is FORM rather than how you say it.
I was of the view that a great work of art is FORM not CONTENT; How you say it is greater than what you say.
This morning, a team of our great artists and content creators, visited me at the Wamunyoro residence, and we revisited the debate over FORM and CONTENT over breakfast.
I have successfully persuaded John Waithaka Mwangi aka Waithaka wa Jane, Anthony Kamau aka Tonny Young, Dickson Degwa AKA DJ Dibul, Samuel Mbote Njogu, Felister Wanjiru Nyoike aka Wanjiru wa Waya and Samuel Githaiga that how they package their works of art superceds what they create.
The debate continues.
Happy to reunite with one of my students from Shikhombelo village in Ikolomani, Sharon Likono accompanied by her husband @Simyuben from Kitale.
Always a pleasure to see youth who passed through my hands thriving.
By 2022 elections, 3-4 M youth over 18 did not vote ( no IDs or VOTER’s CARD). New GenZ voters by 2027 will be approximately 4 M. Hence @IEBCKenya should register 7-8 M new voters, not their 5.7 M estimate. IEBC should not suppress the GenZ vote.
