Why?
"Why don't we produce English coaches of Tuchel's standard, Collymore "?
Two reasons.
1. £13,700 to do your Pro licence in England, today. In Spain it's around €2000. There are 2200 Spanish pro licence coaches. There are 200 English pro licence coaches. Look at the correlation between cost and coaching number.
2. Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney all took jobs instead of doing 3 years at SGP. Why? Gerrard got £2.5m at Rangers, Lampard £1m Derby, Rooney $1m Washington. Fuentes, Spanish head coach coached Sevilla and Bilbao youth on around €30k then Alaves first team where he lasted 6 months on around €100k before being sacked ( for those who thought Southgate Boro CV wasn't up to scratch).
So English coaches have to pay 10 times more than European compatriots to get the same qualification, and English players don't give SGP an identity because they never get there, they go straight to jobs where their fame gets them inflated salary and deal.
I invite anyone reading this to..
Tell me Gerrard's philosophy.
Lampard's philosophy.
Rooney's philosophy.
You can't. Because they never went to SGP to learn one or develop one with each other. An "English way". All winners by the way.
Spain? France? Every 12 year old could tell you the arse end of every Spanish coach, what the core tenets are and how they play. Why? Those coaches coaches with each other, can afford the courses and develop an overall style that suits the environment they work in ( Spain), which is then taken abroad and utilised everywhere.
Deal with the root causes and we'll get our coaches.
Manchester United and Erik ten Hag are obviously locked in a loveless relationship, going nowhere. At some point, they have to part. His tactics, recruitment, game management and public utterances are all unconvincing. He would already have gone at a club with less patient fans. United’s match-going fanbase have been exemplary in their support of the manager. So far. Yet there also has to be understanding of the litany of injuries and, when Ten Hag finally leaves, some players need to acknowledge they could have done more, given more. If only every player had the professionalism, commitment to the cause and willingness to take responsibility of Jonny Evans. Evans has been a true leader on and off the pitch. When Ten Hag does go, Dan Ashworth and Ineos have also to change the culture shaped by the Glazers. United should be a football club with a megastore attached - not the other way round. #MUFC
After 352 days and 385 marathons, Russell Cook, '@hardestgeezer’, has become the first person ever to run the full length of Africa 👏
He’s been kidnapped, battled illness and even robbed at gunpoint while raising over 600k for charity
A history maker and a legend 🫡
Diddy lawsuit exposing the Jeffrey Epstein of the music industry overview video.
This goes back before most of us were born, goes all the way up to intelligence agencies, directly alleges whole houses wired with hidden cameras hosting parties with underage girls, spiked drinks and more.
@KattWilliams said everything would come out in 2024… and this sure looks like the first pin has dropped.
Let me know what I should do more detail on in the next parts.
@myscorpion42 @WowTerrifying The other kind of crazy thought is they clearly understand we use boats (which have killed/injured plenty of orca), but still choose to swim, surf, paddle etc. in open water.
Equivalent of us seeing a cow take out an axe and chop down a tree. Suddenly I’m taking beef OFF the menu
Bruno Fernandes pleading to be brought off? What a ridiculous witch hunt that is.....played 500 minutes more than any other United player this season, plays left wing, right wing, false 9, where ever he's asked. He may be petulant at times but he's no quitter.
Compare this erratic nonsense to how Ten Hag is in press conferences and you'll see which manager is feeling the pressure and which one is calmly going about his business.
