Yorkshire and Humber deanery have underspent on study leave over the last 4 years by ~ £1.67million. There is no messaging from the deanery to facilitate the use of these funds, which can only be used by doctors in training for study leave.

@latimeralder Assuming this is in good faith. LHS is a modification to a road marking that may cause confusion. A red cross could easily be interpreted as a don't use/blocked area. RHS is an addition to a well demarcated crossing. I would assume one of these got approval from local agencies.

@iwanttobeamedic @TheBMA Hi, I did some PA training and am now a med student, the roles are different and pay reflects that. PAs potentially stay where they are, so you end up with a very competent FY that stays on your ward. And the disparity isn't as much when you take on call and locum into account.

I joined @stjohnambulance over half a decade ago at a freshers fair and have loved every moment since. I have made lifelong friends and had amazing opportunities to do some good.
