@chamberhands@ShoreNewsNJ I understand that as well as millions of others. The previous local government entered a crappy contract/agreement. They should have negotiated better. Now NJ is stuck with a mess. World Cup hosts traditionally doesn’t make a profit. NJ got screwed.
@mnewy100redux@Bates_MotelMT@noturtlesoup17 I’m just saying the previous local government agreed to free transportation along with other things in the contract. It’s a crappy contract but it’s what was signed regardless who is in office now.
@mnewy100redux@Bates_MotelMT@noturtlesoup17 I understand what you’re saying, it still goes back to why did they apply to host in the first place. History of the WC shows host cities will lose money. What did they think would happen? Now you’re two months out and all of sudden NJ is concerned.
