I'm seeing many conversations on my timeline re American coins/blockchains ( $ADA $ALGO $DAG $HBAR $LINK $NEAR $SOL $SUI $XLM $XRP etc.) and them potentialy being used as strategic reserves together with $BTC, and in the real-world environment (be it tokenisation of financial sector, payments, etc...)

What is evident is the lack of overall knowledge and 'trust me bro' hype naratives certain communities are 'spitting' without actually addressing real issues chains have to have to be fit-for-purpose in real-world environment use.
Where downtimes, increase in tx fees, block delay processing, and centralisation are big issues.

Yes, I do advocate for #Algorand. There is a reason for it. And until someone can factually persuade me that there is a better alternative for real-world adoption, I'll continue to do so.

$ALGO handled multiple times over 10kTPS with a peak of 14,722 TPS on the mainnet. With no degregation in performance.
Over the last year, it has had, on average, consistant 44TPS (35.5M daily transactions).

It's highly decentralised. Currently, second of all L1s. Expect this to grow rapidly as it was just yesterday when they enabled node runners rewards.

With atomic swaps, instant finality, no possibility of forking, no block reorgs, quantum history safe now, etc. Algorand is seeing daily real-world adoption and use of its rails. Eg;
@exodus used Algorand to tokenise their shares listened on NYSE.
@travelx__ issued over 20M aeroplane tickets for 3 airlines on Algorand rails, with more airlines joining.
@EnelGroupIT is one of the largest utility companies. Globaly is tokenaizing sollar panels on Algorand
@lavazzagroup tracks some of their coffee supply on Algorand rails
@lofty_ai tokenized over 150 USA properties (some of them Airbnb) on Algorand rails
@Mastercard uses Algorand rails
@FIFACollect uses Algorand rails. So far, over 1.3M FIFA memorable moments minted with the ability to reserve tickets for the World Cup.
@HesabPay_ banked over 500k people previously unbankable. 30% of electricity bills in Afghanistan are paid via Algorand network
@agrotoken tokenized agricultural produce on Algorand worth ove $50M so far

etc. etc. etc.

Also, $ALGO is extremely rare if one is to compare apples for apples and look at the true non-divisible supply of tokens (see table below).
With ~84% of tokens in circulation it'll have only on average 2.7% yearly inflation from now until 2030 when the last ALGO will be distributed.
Considering ever increased use from sustainable real-world adoption expect deflationary pressure in the near future.

Also, not only that #Algorand is the USA blockchain, but also its founder, one of the most prominent MIT professors, @silviomicali work was quoted in #Bitcoin whitepaper. (Link for those who want to learn more on this https://t.co/LV3B857V4L)

In short, hype will end sooner or later. #Blockchain adoption in a real-world environment can and it will only happen on tech that is fit-for-purpose. No CTO of large corporations will ever risk their and their clients' assets/money on tech that is NOT fit-for-purpose.

For all of the 'crypto bros' that are judging blockchain tech on token performance, you may as well go to the casino at this point. Real-world adoption is here and will take over from the hype and manipulation we've seen over the last decade.
