@AJamesMcCarthy That's excellent. I talk via the ISS on ham radio fairly often. I even was lucky enough to speak to the crew three times. It'd be really slick to relay via the ISS on radio while watching it pass by on a telescope. I'm guessing the telescope has to have tracking?

The patio garden is prepped for tomatoes and green peppers. It will be automatically 💧 watered. I even set up watering for the European Cypress. The plants arrive this week.

I thought I'd try out my Lo Ra mesh network node. I'm able to power it using a very small solar panel. Off the grid with renewable energy.

@KF0FQL Definitely don't give up. I'm just outside of Olympia, Washington, and regularly get into ISS. I'm using HTs, an arrow antenna, and a duplexer so I don't get into the UHF receive radio. I keep the squelch open to make sure I can hear myself on the downlink. Hope this helps.

Sunny and 75f degrees. At Woodard Bay Conservation area in Olympia, Washington. Beautiful day for a hike on the trail that emerges on the shore of Puget Sound where I saw this group of seals just off shore sharing a space with an equally large group of Cormorant birds.
