YAHTZEE!!! Yep, we heard a couple kiddos yell that today at Game Club!
We made the switch this week from Scrabble to Yahtzee, from using words to using numbers, and we found out many are already Yahtzee masters! It was also nice to see masters teaching novices!

Our Jacobsburg neighbors had us over for a visit & what a fun day it was!
We became 🐦 watching experts, investigated native 🌱 , & found lots of tiny things 🪳 in Bushkill Creek. Some of us REALLY got to know the creek…IYKYK!😂

The Aevidum Club invited us to their annual 5k & we had a blast. From face painting, eating Rita’s, to walking/running on a hot day, we enjoyed our “trip”!

As his days at Butz dwindle because of his impending retirement, it was a privilege to👂🏼to him read & chat with his class today.
My first year in the classroom was spent with him as he supported many in my classroom AND me too!

Aevidum members from the High School visited KBES on Monday to talk to us about the message “I’ve got your back” & what we can do to make sure those around us know we are there for them. We also had a 🍌sale to raise💰for Aevidum, but also share messages on the 🍌w/ our friends.

On Friday we celebrated KBES’s volunteers for BEE-ing 🐝 so amazing at our annual volunteer appreciation breakfast.
We are grateful that we have an awesome group of volunteers who share their time & selves with us. From big events, to little, KBES is very 🍀 !

A Kindness Squad project that came to a close today-our book drive for Cops n Kids of the Lehigh Valley. We loaded up 2 district 🚐 w/ 📦&📦of 📚 thanks to the generosity of our KBES families & made the road trip to Bethlehem. Soon children of the LV will get some new to them 📚!
