Exciting milestone for @SightandLife. The new SAL-Alema poultry research center in Ethiopia supports #innovative #climate-adaptive applications leveraging private sector investment and know how transforming #smallholder agriculture.

Last week, we opened a new facility in Bishoftu, Ethiopia 🇪🇹🎊

It will test and evaluate poultry feed for quality control, research on better feed composition, and help detect and prevent disease outbreak in birds. 🐓

This research center aims to: 🔬
1️⃣ Reduce bird mortality, improve egg quality 🥚
2️⃣ Increase farmer productivity and incomes 🧑🏾‍🌾💰
