I started putting patches on my sweater before my vest, and now, thanks to my Canadian friend Mark Hopkins helping me obtain a Tangerine Dream patch from overseas, I think I've finally finished my sweater. Bask in my nerd glory.

I neglected to show my vest's side-seam patches, which fans of Depeche Mode, Vampire: The Masquerade and Dungeons & Dragons should recognize.

I've been informed my nerd vest is a "battle jacket," owing to history involving World War II pilots, biker gangs and heavy metal fans.

With the attachment of my last back patches, my vest is finally complete, somewhere between a year and a half to two years after I started this silly project, but now, like Tom Baker's scarf and Matt Smith's bowtie, I have my signature Doctor Who wardrobe accessory.

I'd given his film a positive review, and he shares my love of @andorofficial, which he spotted among the patches on my Nerd Vest.

Covering the @PTFilmFest at the @RoseTheatrePT for the @ptleader, I got to tell Tom Skerritt that I grew up watching him in "Picket Fences," and I loved his work with Harry Dean Stanton in "Alien" and "Lucky."

And yes, I did it while wearing a Flynn's Arcade shirt.
