@adamlyttleapps Because Auslan has a different grammatical structure to English and Auslan does not have a written form. Both languages are vastly different from one another.

Hoyts say they will start a two show weekly open captioned screening of rotating movies. The Craptiview experiment has largely failed. Now to increase the availability of OC in at least 50%of movie screenings on request.

@AdamCSchembri Thank goodness for NDIS in Australia so parents can employ Deaf teachers to teach the language to them and their extended family and friends. Also able to employ Deaf support staff and Deaf role models to guide them and their young people.

Yes, sign languages are beautiful but did you know hearing parents are told not to sign with their deaf children by hearing professionals and have to fork out thousands of £ of their own money to learn to sign and to talk to their own kids? #SignLanguageWeek
