@DSGovernment Can we genuinely expect sustained economic development without first ensuring that our fields and markets are flourishing with local produce?
Food availability remains a priority of the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori administration, with large-scale commercial agriculture and greenhouse farming expanding steadily through public-private partnerships.
@DSGovernment When we look across our communities and see Deltans sharing their personal thoughts, we are forced to ask ourselves what these transformations really mean on the ground. Can a bridge, school, road be called a success unless it genuinely improves the daily lives of the families?
Across our communities, Deltans continue to share their thoughts, observations, and stories, offering a unique perspective on the changes taking place around them and reminding us that at the heart of every achievement are the people it is meant to serve.
The greatest investment is in people. By creating opportunities, empowering youths, and strengthening livelihoods, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is helping more Deltans realise their potential and build better futures.
@RtHonSheriff How does an administration build such deep trust that an entire ethnic union visits the Government House not to demand, but to take shared responsibility for protecting public property?
Today, I received the leadership of the Ndokwa Neku Union, led by the President-General, Chief Comrade Amechi Asugwuni, at Government House, Asaba. Our discussion focused on power, infrastructure, and tertiary institutions. The Union apologised for the vandalisation of power facilities installed by our administration in Ndokwa Nation and pledged to protect public infrastructure across the area.
@DSGovernment How can a leader transform the political landscape of Delta State so deeply that an entire ethnic nationality feels compelled to collectively visit the Government House and pass an official vote of confidence?
@DSGovernment While the heartbreak of this train accident in Agbor remains heavy, does it not bring hope to see leadership translate grief into immediate, structured action?
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, has expressed deep sorrow over the train accident in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area, which claimed four lives and left several others injured.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor directed the Commissioner for Special Duties and the Chairmen of Ika South and Ika North-East Local Government Councils to coordinate rescue efforts and ensure prompt medical attention for the injured.

@DSGovernment If our leaders do not intentionally set aside their differences and embrace mutual understanding, how can we hope to secure a stable and prosperous future for Warri and its environs?
Bringing together the Itsekiri, Ijaw, and Urhobo ethnic nationalities, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori today convened an emergency stakeholders meeting to strengthen dialogue, reinforce mutual understanding, and sustain peace in Warri and its environs.
Leaders of the ethnic nationalities reaffirmed their commitment to peace, agreeing to set aside differences and embrace dialogue as the path to resolving concerns. The stakeholders also pledged to maintain calm and work together in the interest of stability, unity, and progress.
@RtHonSheriff This is highly commendable your Excellency, How can a state build an unbreakable foundation for sustainable development without first ensuring that its diverse communities can coexist in perfect harmony?
In fulfilment of the fourth pillar of our MORE Agenda, today I held an emergency peace parley with leaders of the three ethnic nationalities Urhobo, Ijaw and Itsekiri in Warri Federal Constituency at Government House, Asaba. Going forward, they assured Deltans of lasting peace and promised to continue their deliberations on Thursday this week. At the meeting, I also commended the leaders of the three ethnic nationalities for their cooperation.
It is commendable that the administration is actively pursuing solutions that can deliver sustainable power supply in Ndokwa and improve business activities in the area.
To address power supply challenges in Ndokwa Nation, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration is engaging BEDC and TCN to facilitate the restoration of electricity to affected communities.
