People forget just how much went wrong for the Kansas City Chiefs offense last season… and how good they still were 👀

Let’s break it down:

• Rashee Rice missed 9 games and was coming off a torn ACL
• Xavier Worthy missed 3 games and played the entire season on a torn labrum
• The Chiefs were the least explosive rushing offense in the NFL
• 1st-Round LT missed 9 games
• Highest-paid RG in the NFL missed 5 games
• Starting RT missed 5 games
• RB1 missed 4 games

And despite ALL of that…

The Chiefs were still a Top-8 offense before Patrick Mahomes tore his ACL.

That’s honestly remarkable.

Now look at where things stand:

• Offensive weapons healthy
• Offensive line healthy
• Matt Nagy out as OC, Eric Bienemy returns
• Super Bowl MVP as RB1
• Two 1st-round picks will be added to the roster
• Another full offseason to build chemistry

And don’t forget — NINE one-score losses defined last season… not the team’s true ability.

That’s not a team that was far away.
That’s a team that was a few plays away.

If the Chiefs can add a 1st or 2nd Round WR, then this offense has a very real chance to reach 2022 Chiefs levels again 🔥
