Five years since Brexit.
Five years of economic and political damage. Five years of clarity what a mistake Brexit has been - for both sides.
But one thing is clear:
We miss you. And our door remains open.
🇪🇺❤️🇬🇧
Today’s growth stats show it is slowing. So which politician now has the courage to say the bleedin obvious ?
#Brexit has been bad for trade, bad for growth, bad for our economy and all would be significantly boosted if we at the very least joined the #EU custom union.
The shortest amount of time it's taken a country to join the EU, is 3 years!
We can beat that record. We just have to apply first to get the ball rolling.
The politicians need YOU to TELL them to apply! So sign the petition...

#RejoinEU
Families across the UK will be worrying about the damage Trump will do to our economy with his damaging tariffs and record of starting trade wars.
Fixing the UK’s broken relationship with the EU is even more urgent than before.
"If you needed another reason for the UK to join the EU, this: Brexit was always going to fail anyway, but Trump's win makes the UK even more stranded in an increasingly toxic place. For the UK, Ukraine, European security & decency in the world, we must rejoin." @EuropeanMovemen
This changes everything. We in the UK need to recognise - fast - that it is not sustainable for us to be disconnected from our true friends in the world.
Keir Starmer now needs urgently to start talks about taking the UK back into the European mainstream.
Ed Davey is spot on here.
Now, more than ever, we need to break ties with America and focus on rebuilding our relationship with Europe.
You can’t have a “special relationship” with a treacherous fascist.
With no friends across the Atlantic, Labour will need to up their game fast if they're to have any chance at all at a second term.
Our mainly RW media will delight in blaming a Trump-tariff-fuelled recession on them.
No more piddling about with quarter measures on the EU.
We cannot allow our government to keep defying Brexit reality.
Now more than ever they need to drop this idiocy about the single market and stop pandering to the Reform UK cult.
We need to be at the heart of Europe again.
It’s a matter of national and economic security.
A Trump victory, should the increasingly likely come to pass, will make cosying up to the EU more vital than ever.
The very first thing that will happen if Trump slams massive tariff barriers up is the EU will too - with us on the outside.
No time for half measures from Labour.
Fixing the UK’s broken relationship with the EU is even more urgent than before. We must strengthen trade and defence cooperation across Europe to help protect ourselves from the damage Trump will do.
This is a dark, dark day for people around the globe. The world’s largest economy and most powerful military will be led by a dangerous, destructive demagogue.
