@Louise_m_perry Tell me about it, Louise. But sadly, I’m not surprised. The trouble is, the leftist liberals in America, and also here in Britain, are often so narcissistic, to the extent that they won’t consider anything that conflicts with their ideology. They are so narrow minded, it’s scary.
@emmakennytv He certainly is! Absolutely idiotic beyond words.
The very concept of punishing people alive today for events they were never personally responsible for, is the height of lunacy.
@KonstantinKisin Yes! Precisely. Putting your people first is basic common sense. Some of these utterly spineless, weak-kneed politicians need to show some resolve and stop being pathetic, virtue-signalling cowards.
This is why people are saying, "Don't send your daughters to college."
After being attacked at their debate table, where Joe was slapped and Lizzie was violently shoved to the ground, the group decided to look into the woman responsible.
And what they found was shocking.
She used to be kind. She used to have purpose. She used to be a public speaker, fighting for people to needed her.
But after going to university, she became hateful, angry, and violent. And by her own admission - mentally ill.
It's wild. But it also explains A LOT about why so many modern liberal women are consumed by anger, resentment, and total hostility.
Universities are supposed to educate young people, broaden their perspectives, and prepare them for the world.
Instead, they're breaking their spirits, filling them with rage, and turning them into absolute lunatics.
These young women are going in with purpose - and coming out consumed by pure hatred.
This isn't about slavery at all
If it was, these campaigners would be fighting for the millions of Africans in MODERN slavery
This is a cash grab by the Caribbean and an attack on Britain & The West by activists
No one today is a victim of Britain's slave trade
Britain abolished its slave trade in 1807 and slavery in most of the Empire in 1833. The Royal Navy’s West Africa Squadron then spent decades intercepting ships, freeing about 150,000 Africans at significant cost in lives and money.
Reparations from today’s taxpayers make little sense. No one alive participated in or was enslaved by that system. Britain’s costly global suppression of the trade already stands as a rare historical correction.
@perayahmet Utter nonsense. Britain made the biggest effort to combat slavery and bring it to an end.
If we’re going to apologise for events that happened before we existed: how about asking the North African coast to apologise for the Barbary Slave Trade? Or is that too inconvenient?
@perayahmet Don’t be ridiculous. I’m tired of hearing this made-up word. It is simply being utilised as a weapon to silence any legitimate criticism or scrutiny of Islam.
Get a grip, you useless waste of space.
An estimated 91,000 people live in modern slavery in Ghana, according to the Global Slavery Index.
The Ghanaian government should focus on ending slavery within its own borders, not demanding reparations off British taxpayers over grievances from hundreds of years ago.
The answer to reparations should always be no.
The Traitor Who Won Traitors
You couldn't write it. The BBC's golden boy, Romesh Ranganathan, walks out of the castle as the winner of Celebrity Traitors with £41,500 to give to charity. He had the whole country to choose from: children's hospices, our veterans sleeping rough, cancer research, food banks run by volunteers in every town. He chose the Refugee Council.
That wasn't a surprise. Romesh became the charity's Patron in September, and he's given to it before. His co-winner, Sebastian Croft, sent his half to Choose Love, a charity that used to be called Help Refugees. Two winners and £83,000, and every penny of it went to refugee causes.
Julia Hartley-Brewer summed it up: the most BBC thing ever. It's prize money from a show funded by the licence fee, a fee paid by British pensioners, families and workers on pain of prosecution, and it ended up funding the very causes most of those people are fed up with.
Romesh says "whatever your politics" we should agree on humanity and dignity. Fine. But where's the humanity for the veteran on the street, the pensioner choosing between heating and eating, or the British kid waiting months for cancer treatment? Charity starts at home, and at the BBC, home always seems to come last.
He won a game about spotting who's secretly working against the team. Plenty of people watching will think the irony writes itself. In my eyes, putting the Refugee Council ahead of our own makes him a fitting champion of Traitors.

When will the demands stop?
Everyone knows the transatlantic slave trade was wrong. Britain played a huge role in stopping it.
So when it comes to the question of reparations, my answer is no.
It’s time for the Commonwealth to start looking forwards, not backwards.
@LagSignal Not accepted. I don’t believe for a minute she means a single word of her ‘apology.’
She is a typical arrogant, conceited leftist and she’s only saying this because she’s learned the hard way that behaving like a scumbag has consequences.
Just….yes! Fucking yeet them into next Tuesday! I don’t feel sorry for this woman. She did it to herself. Also I saw another camera angle clip of this and this woman seems to be kinda older so like…what is she even doing there? She could have broken her shoulder or something 🙄
Women, not men, are the ones being radicalized. The moral panic surrounding the supposed boogeyman of the “manosphere” is little more than a convenient distraction from a far larger, more pervasive, and more troubling phenomenon: the “femisphere.”
The REAL crisis is the normalization of widespread, increasingly extreme anti-male sentiment. While society obsessively scrutinizes alleged misogyny among men, it largely ignores, excuses, and even celebrates misandry among women.
The prevailing narrative has it backward. Men are routinely cast as the perpetrators of sexism, when in reality, they are increasingly its targets and victims.
