Got some work in tonight! Working on balance and getting stronger in my swing. For catching we worked on passed ball flips. Thanks, Dad for stepping in to catch my throws. Thanks Coach Jay for working with me and making me a better player every week. #2029softballrecruit

Finished the day with a .600 SLG and 1.000 OPS. I’m excited to keep working, competing, and getting better this fall!

Last tournament of the season for us. Go finish strong at the @USSSA_KC World Fastpitch Championship in KC

[Sports in Kansas @sportsinkansas]

Basehor-Linwood Softball (5A 🥎) is lead by Head Coach Susan Mayberry. As a team they have a record of 13-1 on the season and sits atop the 5A East standings, coming off a big win over previously undefeated Mill Valley last week and adding two more wins against DeSoto Tuesday night they look to keep that ball rolling. After 29 seasons with the Bobcats, this will be Coach Mayberry’s final season. The Bobcats are playing with purpose as they look to build on a strong program legacy that includes four state appearances in the last five years. Rylee Hackmann of Sports in Kansas was at practice yesterday and caught up with Lexie Saultz, Lindsey Kuzmie, Trinity Deters, Addison Murphy, and Head Coach Susan Mayberry. #sportsinkansas
