Heavenly Father,
We come before You on this National Day of Prayer with grateful hearts. Thank You for the freedoms we enjoy and for Your guiding hand upon our nation.
Grant our leaders wisdom, integrity, and humility as they serve. Unite our people in peace and purpose. Strengthen our families, protect our communities, and help us walk in compassion and justice.
May we seek Your will above all, trusting in Your grace and mercy.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
104-year-old former Winston-Salem firefighter in North Carolina celebrated his birthday today with a surprise parade of fire trucks.
Robert Grier proudly stood up and waved.
Heโs one of the first black firefighters to join his dept. He served 30 years.
This decorated soldier survived combat overseasโฆ only to be killed here at home on American soil.
He deserves to be honored, and Iโm going to keep sharing his story.
Lt. Col. Brandon Shah was a Professor of Military Science and leader of the ROTC program at Old Dominion University. He served his country in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Atlantic Resolve, surviving dangerous combat deployments overseas.
