@KendallRogers I'm really shocked and surprised to see this comment from so many big time baseball writers. I respect your work but I don't respect this. When he's going to each player around the diamond and mouthing to them and gesturing to them. That's enough.
@JCManson I think it's ridiculous that he was calling the game to begin with. It was very clear that he was cheering the whole game and I think they should stop doing that crap
@BmbDwgRet@BeLoudWearRed The whole thing was ridiculous. There's no way he was talking to his parents. He was taunting each of the Liberty players around the bases
Cooper Harrington exits after 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball for Liberty -- just a magnificent performance from the closer, making his 3rd start of the year, in a regional final, against a team Bradley LeCroy called "the '27 Yankees", in this setting. Wow. But it's 2-1 Georgia.
Okay, I've been watching this whole game and saving up. George's fans are kind of wild and or ridiculous. The announcers are silly to be trying to defend what Phelps and the coach did. Liberty has taken them out of their game and they're angry about it. That's how it is.
Make it 9 up, 9 down for Cooper Harrington. He presents such a tough look, with a 5-foot-2 release height coupled with absurd 7-feet-9-inches of extension (!!) - that 92-94 gets on you in a hurry.

FINAL: @LibertyBaseball wins a very entertaining Athens Regional opener, 4-3 over BC. Cooper Harrington strands the tying run in scoring position in the 9th, thanks to a nice sliding catch by CF Josh Campos to end it. Flames defense came up big in the 9th, while BC's fell short.
