Per BM: Dave Wagner was an OP, KS native who went to NY & worked with Lydia & her first Restaurant. He convinced Lydia to put her first Restaurant outside NYC in KC in the Freight House District. He was the first GM. ... And Lydia’s today in KC still a wonderful Restaurant!

Per DG: I was there with y’all. Jason Johntz was the brilliant young fireball developer of Anne’s Lofts and this was one of his very rare public appearances. And yes, Marion was there too.

From the archives: Rail passengers in Union Station's North Waiting Room (undated photo). The waiting room originally held 44 double mahogany benches seating 750. Eight gates on each side of the room led passengers to and from the trains below.
