BREAKING: Russian oil giant Rosneft is now deliberately slowing down oil refinery repairs at most of its plants, stretching work that should take days into months, after repeated Ukrainian strikes made the cycle of damage and reconstruction too expensive to sustain, per Bloomberg.

Refineries restarted within weeks of an attack were struck again as repairs neared completion. Rosneft officials have privately warned the costs cannot be sustained long-term, and that a few more months of the war could leave catastrophic and lasting damage across the business.

Zelensky ended Ukraine's pause on refinery strikes last week. "The block on attacking refineries is out. We're done."
