@craigdhooten@SleeperRoyals Garcia was just extended and his value is currently much lower than last offseason after a disappointing season and being injured…he’s not moving this offseason
@royalsclubhouse They need pitching, both starting and bullpen, so bad. If the bullpen was even mid tier this season, they’d probably only be like 8 or so under .500, as crazy as that is with all the problems they have
@TheFan965@Royals Oh cool…a completely neutered interview that is script-written and approved by the front office itself so that Sherman can continue to face no real backlash for the dog shit performance of this org since basically the day he bought the team. Can’t wait to tune in! 🖕🖕🖕
In the last week:
- John Schreiber gave up a go-ahead, 3-run blast to James Outman on a 2-2 count in the seventh
- Alex Lange gave up a walk-off, two-run double with two outs in the ninth
- Strahm gave up a walk-off grand slam on a 0-2 count with two outs in the ninth.
If those went the other way, the #Royals would likely be 11-2 since the All-Star Break.
The Royals broadcast calls the Kody Clemens ultimate grand slam to walk it off for the Twins with the brilliantly put “Unbelievable. Absolutely Unbelievable.”
@jazayerli This is the most incredible loss I can remember in terms of pulling defeat from the jaws of victory in my 30 years of royals fandom. I can’t fathom what just happened
There is a reasonable case to be made that the 1999 Royals had the worst bullpen of all time. (The Royals that year had a winning record after six innings...and finished 64-97.) I certainly never thought I'd see a Royals team with a worse bullpen.
But this one is close.
