I'm also going to request a https://t.co/W68osg5yWH page for Ollie King soon. I hope they add it, it is a short game but I'd definitely like some competition to beat my personal times. Wonder if it'd get grouped with the JSR games since it is a spinoff.
There's been development on a Xemu build that includes Chihiro support that I've been waiting on. I was going to stream the teknoparrot CXBX build, but genuinely looking at Xemu's version is 100% better. I'll wait a little longer until that releases for playtesting.
I played the latest emu build today for OK.
I can say it's like 85-90% there. You gotta do workarounds for intel CPUs though.
I wish it was smoother, I hope they work on performance more.
Here's some modded music gameplay from testing. Full video later.
Good to see.
Been busy w/ job stuff.
When this is out, I’ll be streaming it.
And since I have all the research on the file formats, might be able to make modding tools for OK.
(Models, animations, music mods).
Reminder you can find the tools at: https://t.co/aPJ80yfcvO
I know I don't talk much anymore, but this is huge.
It's not source code, it's a symbol list.
However, this means that you can work off said list and make a decomp much easier than usual.
I'm gonna be working on doing a decomp, I actually love ZG a ton.
@mariocraft31 I remember messing with the .swf years ago to try and do this sort of thing and add some features.
Would be sick to get into it again honestly. This closed sourced for now or are you hosting a repo anywhere?
I am leaving in a few hours, so I'm making my college game dev project available to download right now.
You can grab it on my discord server (pinned tweet).
Thank you for the support, this is just the start of things. This is more of a demo I've constructed for a story mode idea.
Sorry I've been gone for a week. I've been locking in 100% to finish the game project for my class.
I can now say that one exam left and I'm graduated from college.
Yes this is a prototype/proof of concept for OKMP. This is what was between me and my degree. Poetic.
I will be skipping tonight, I have some other projects to finish for this finals week as well and prioritization matters.
Good news though: I did fix the rail grinding from yesterday (thank god for collision layers).
On Wednesday, we'll be doing more gameplay mechanics.
Since I have about one more week to do a demo of my game dev project, I’ll be streaming (hopefully) every day starting today of me working on the game until then.
Catch me sometime tonight on the same twitch link, where we’ll be doing rail grind and halfpipe physics.
