@BocetoUwU my tweet is jokingly referring to when his masking of his sorrow is done so strongly, it makes worse writers of him think he has no real problems and erase them in the process. that's the entire point. I'm saying that writers who think he is entirely happy do not understand him

realizing one of superman's irl feats as a character is masking his depressive symptoms and mental problems so well he literally tricks his own writers sometimes into thinking he's actually really that okay and well off and happy go lucky and it isn't a coping mechanism

@BocetoUwU generally speaking, in my opinion, if a specific superman doesn't have an undertone of isolation and sorrow, that version of superman sucks because it erases the primary conflict he has as a character in favor of turning him into a generic hero
