It's Giving Day at DA! I'm proud and grateful to be a part of this special community, today and everyday. Join with me and Cavs all over the country to support DA.
💚 TODAY’S THE DAY 🤍
#DAGivingDay is underway! Help us reach our goal of 1,111 donors by midnight to unlock a $25,000 gift that will benefit DA’s incredible students and faculty – including kindergarten teacher Jessica Whilden and her Bumblebees 🐝

“Many of us have fought for the change we wish to see, but we must address the massive elephant in the room: Young people just do not vote. The question is, why?”

What was a highlight of your weekend?
For a few DA fifth- and sixth-graders – most of whom are learning remotely – one was attending a socially-distanced rocket launch Friday 🚀
Shoutout to Middle School teachers Molly Punk and Cliff Robbins for hosting such a cool event 👊👏
This is a big day! This effort to create a lab high school @HawkenSchool also led to the creation of @MastTranscript and the @kordainstitute A great partnership for mastery learning. #education#masterychat
We’re a few days in, and @digitalkarl
Is already helping 6th graders use 3D printers to prototype useful objects for our new reality. Sustainability, engineering, economics & virology in the palms of our students’ hands.
@gregbamford @CWATarriers @GOAlearning And of course I meant "seeking" not "seeing." Our North Carolina association is doing an online course with grade banding, which might help teachers of younger learners, but that's it so far.
