Today, @anticorruption released the Corruption Perceptions Index (#CPI2023). The index covers 180 countries, using a methodology based on credible international sources, scoring from 0 to 100. Zero signifies high corruption, while 100 points represent a corruption-free society.

🌍 Overall, CPI 2023 reveals that many countries, including Kosovo, made minimal or no progress in combating public sector corruption over the past decade. Over 2/3 of the countries, including Kosovo, score below 50 points—indicating significant corruption challenges.

Comparing power branches: The Justice Institutions lead with 69.7/100 points, the Executive follows with 65.9/100 points, and the Legislature trails at 60.4/100 points. 🏛️

Today, #KDI, disseminated the main findings of the assessment of the National Integrity System in 🇽🇰 for 2023.

The overall institutional integrity is at just 67/100 points - a meagre pass, insufficient for an effective anti-corruption fight and governance with integrity.❗️

✅ Top 3 institutions by the level of integrity: National Audit Office @Kosovo_NAO (83.3/100), Ombudsperson @kosombudsperson (79.5/100), and Police @Kosovo_Police (75/100).
