im going to my high school best friend wedding next week

during that chapter of my life, we had a squad that thought we would be together forever. we'd do everything together and change seemed impossible.

we imagined annual trips to europe and asia, our families would also be best friends and our kids would go to school together.

but none of that has happened

instead, we have all dispersed to different parts of the world and have pursued such a myriad of different paths. jason is an ER doctor, another is a fashion designer, the other homie works in tech, and who tf knows what i do.

i remember a night when we all went camping together in tahoe and stared up at the stars, talking about what it would be like the day we all had beautiful wives, what our lives would be like. the tent was hot so we all just slept outside getting bitten by mosquitos.

suddenly that day is here, 10 years later, just in a blink of an eye.

Life is amazing:

-gyms exist
-Coke Zero exists
-hot girls outnumber even moderately put-together dudes 2000 to 1
-you and your wife can get hammered at a comedy show then smash all night without a condom
-you and your friends can hit the gym then smoke a joint and grill cheeseburgers
-iPhones have GPS and it tells you when there’s a cop so you can slow down and avoid a speeding ticket
-you could be working 16 hour days in a coal mine in a third world country

There are people who live in wheelchairs. There are kids born with disabilities. No Prom, no Shoulder Presses, no sleepovers with their best friends staying up til 2AM watching Interstellar.

And you’re not SMASHING the gym like a GRATEFUL SAVAGE!? Eating healthy 90% of the time, calling your friends for no reason, booking the trip, CRUSHING IT at work, ASKING for the raise!? Asking out your crush making her your girlfriend then your wife!?

You’re spinning on a sphere in an infinite universe and the fact you’re alive is a 1 in 500 trillion miracle - you’re so lucky it’s absurd and you have nothing to lose :)

robinhood method/thoughts past 3 days:

i bridged 1 eth & manually started searching noxa & dexscreener for good coins that match the robinhood vibe/meta (also buying every cat+frog meme in the book).

been trading the whole week on the basedbot tg bot on my phone, works great.

rarely wallet sleuthing, only tracking 3 great traders that catch good narratives early. check chats & X for good coins that pop up, no memescope type trenching. just sifting for gems.

personally i HATE topblasting but the few times i’ve done it its paid off. sometimes the coin ticks all the right boxes & you just need to pull the trigger.

patience is very important, it’s very easy to get shaken out of great narratives. sometimes you’re just way too early.

as the chain matures i believe the best move will be to allocate to great community driven coins with KOL support and blasting the narrative/runner of the day. be selective but keep your expectations high.

at the same time, with all the different blockcain szns we’ve had no one knows how long this will last so make sure to book & secure profits. i do really like robinhood though, i finally get to play to my strengths again, finding great lowcaps and just waiting for the rest of the chain to notice.
