The statue of Columbus torn down in Baltimore. Meanwhile, we in India celebrate "landing spots" of Vasco da Gama. How mentally colonized do we have to be?

The nation Cyprus is named after ancient Greek Goddess Aphrodite.

There is not a single worshiper of Aphrodite on this Island today.

"Copper" (Cyprium) got its name because it was abundantly available in Cyprus.

The ongoing stand-off with China exposes the internal divide in India between the colonized mercantile elites who propagate the 'global village' myth and the patriotic silent majority with their skin in the game. Excellent piece by @jsaideepak. https://t.co/bIjgK2Mi4f

One simply cannot "interpret" everything to one's liking.

Svādhyāya in the context of Yoga's Niyama (anga) means "study of vedic scriptures"

Explicitly specified in Vyasa's commentary on Patanjali's Yogasutra (1.17)
