@Hydedriver I think people just get the wrong idea about it. NaNo is supposed to be about learning to get into a habit of writing. It's definitely not supposed to be about stressing about writing, and it's sad to see some writers getting on others' cases about keeping their minimums :(
Hey #WritingCommunity how many novels can you think of that are set in the Middle Ages? I recently became enthralled in the time period and want to write a novel myself in that age but I'd love to see what other literature includes that setting!

I try to think of the physical embodiment of what a character is feeling to get across what is happening instead of telling. If a character is really anxious about something, have them think about it and begin to show signs of their anxiety!
I got 20k words into my #NaNoWriMo novel and absolutely lost interest...whoops! So I switch to another WIP to be my nano instead. It has 10k more words than my original one had so my goal is for it to hit 60k words to make up the difference!
