The urge to switch from low tier main is natural because we change as people. As a human, not a player, you have to realize you don't have (and neither want to have) the same commitment you had years ago. Acknowledging the change is essential, NOT switching; it's just a game 🎮.

If you see a low tier main, you may think "he does not care about competing" but you can make the same statement for a player that drops their low tier for a top tier and rephrase it "he knows this game isn't worth the struggle". Just depends on the player and the journey, really

@KonkeyDorf Yeah I used to reverse her a lot at the start of the game but now I have to deal with Lucinas that go offstage, wait and don't commit to the edgeguard immediately, it's really scary. Limit crosslash stopping him midair lets him chase farther than it may seem but yeah it's risky
