#Helene #WNCStrong Two weeks out from the disaster, and public trash pick up is resuming in Fairview. The public dumpsters KD's is providing will be picked up today. We're proud to have implemented this vital public service only three days after the storm hit. The community has been so grateful!

Maybe…but NC Well Construction Standards have not been relaxed so there is a process to follow.

A big shout out to all the folks who dropped off donations the help those effected by #Helene! We received more clothing donations than we could handle, so those have been passed on to Cane Creek Middle School and The Place Fellowship Church just down the road. #WNCStrong

KD's has installed Starlink to allow debit/credit transactions. We are also providing free wifi for the the public. Both services mean so much when traditional infrastructure has failed.

We're doing all we can to help our devastated community. Stop in for general store items, gas,
donated items, free ice (when we can get it), free water for flushing, public wifi, public dumpsters, and also port a johns.
