Time for R. If you've noticed, I've mindfully avoided the most popular song of the acts I've named, and The Rascals aren't any different, I'm not using "Groovin". I dedicate this choice to my wife, Crystal.

The alphabetic journey is at Q. As I've gone along, some letters changed from the original idea and some letters had me scramble a bit to find something. From the start Q was Queen.

P. Here's the folk group Peter, Paul and Mary and "I Dig Rock and Roll Music". They mention three acts, The Mamas and Papas, Donnovan and The Beatles. As they mention each one, they sing in the style of that act.

Time for K. The Kinks and Lola. This is the standard version. There is a British edit because of the use of Coke in the first verse. The BBC wouldn't play it as they felt it was an ad for Coke so there is a version where Coke is replaced with cherry.

The I song was difficult. There's not a lot to choose from. It came down to Imagine Dragons and the Isley Brothers then decided to let fate take the choice. Shout is the Minnesota Wild goal song, so if they won at Vegas last night, it would get the nod.

Up to H. I chose the Hollies as they have great range in music. So here's a song about a guy getting thrown out of a strip club.

Time for F. This one came to me out of nowhere. I was thinking Foo Fighters, Five for Fighting or Foster the People, but here we are!

For the C entry on our alphabetical journey I have chosen Counting Crows.
