This #waybackwednesday we remember a visit to @cityofcc (mid 90's) by @sesamestreet Luis (Emilio Delgado) and Cookie Monster! Luis and Cookie stopped by @BGC_CB for some fun! Emilio was part of Sesame Street for 45 years, he sadly passed away on March 10, 2022 at the age of 81.

@mistertrivia78 @classic_film It charted twice actually and both were in the Top 40 in March of 1966. One was by Neil Hefti, who did the music for the series. It peaked at 35. The bigger version by The Marketts peaked at 17.

@wjcarter Do you have an idea of how well preserved the various shows are? Obviously what remains of Carson is safe, likely Leno and CBS Letterman. What about Ferguson, Kilborn, Conan, Snyder, Rivers, Arsenio, etc. Even Chase & Sajak are part of TV history and should be archived.

@JoJoFromJerz When I was in second grade I went to a classmates birthday party where lunch would be served. The "lunch" turned out to be hot dogs with a choice of only two toppings, ketchup or COTTAGE CHEESE. The birthday boy and his family devoured them like candy. I went home hungry.

@Breedlovecam The one with the bleep is the hit version from 1969. Now when I play it on the radio that's the version I use, even though I have both versions. Because that's the way it was heard back then. Don't think I ever heard the unbleeped version until sometime in the 1980s.
