@conantnyc Thank you. Mom of a former gymnast, and even at lower levels the "twisties" are debilitating. At Simone's level, she could be catastrophically hurt. Her mind and body temporarily have lost connection. She didn't just quit. #standwithsimone

@Simone_Biles Take care of yourself. My 18-year-old daughter was a gymnast for 12 years and had to give up some of her dreams due to injuries. You are her role model and she immediately understood what you were going through. She's is coaching and your example will help her. Much respect. 🙏
