Fire limbo. Yep we do that too. We have refined our show to make it worth the money. And for us to make something. We love what we do. But it is our livelihood.
do you think conventions are worth it to get shows? I used to think not because we got so many shows. since Covid things have changed. So now trying to get back into.
Home Depot charged me $141 to move a USED couch after telling us it would be $19. Two $150 holds, system errors, and a policy no one explained. That extra $100 was part of my granddaughter’s Christmas. This one hurt. @HomeDepot
So someone gave my daughter a couch because hers was broken down. Normally, I would have just bought her one, but life has been lifing.
I personally use @uhaul all the time — more than the average person. At most of our shows, you’ll see us with a U-Haul. Honestly, they should sponsor us because sometimes it’s literally our backdrop for 10 days. 😅
But this time, she chose Home Depot because of the “unlimited miles.” They said it was a $150 deposit and $39 for two hours. Okay, cool.
We got there a little late — totally our fault. He tried to check us in, but every time he finished, the system wouldn’t work. He tried three times, got a supervisor, and still nothing. After 40 minutes, they started over and put another $150 hold on my debit card. 😳
He said, “You can bring it back in the morning since we’re about to close. It’ll still just be $19.”
Well guess what. When we returned it, the charge was $141… to move a used couch.
They said the system automatically charges for 24 hours after 7 hours — but no one told us that.
I could say this is water under the bridge, but we don’t have many shows right now, and that extra $100 mattered. That was part of my granddaughter’s Christmas. Her mom can’t work — she has a debilitating autoimmune disease and is waiting on disability. You know how that goes.
So… thanks, Home Depot. SMH.
@Uhaul i should have used you it would’ve been about $90 for 24 hours — or around $40 if returned early.
(And no, I don’t work for U-Haul 😂)
@HomeDepot do better !!

Call the fraud department. I was like huh?!? Then I realized he think because HE hears clicking. And the other dude think I Gave him a wrong date of birth. That I was flagged and then denied. That was the utmost crazy, horrible situation EVER!! Thanks @Verizon
Why you all didnt tell me about @Verizon ??! I was on the phone for literally 4 hours to set up business lines. i only had one nice person that didn’t treat me like a criminal. After that it went down hill. One dude said “ do you hear that clicking” I said no. He said it happen
Me the document. I was like but I did this already. He said I need to see them. I said ok. And I did. Phone disconnected. So I emailed and said sorry can you call me back. No response. The next guy was like well I see a lot of documentation about fraud and I added some. You need
Read about my trials and tribulations of how Covid did our group. And also how @firstcitizens treated us as a small business. I will let you know when. It will be in the Wall Street journal.
I totally get it I guess. That is why I had a small bank so that I could matter!!! So now I wait for somebody to call me. But now what? How unprofessional is this? Me not paying people.. can’t set up my account for vendors to pay me. Why @firstcitizens is this happening?
Account called …… she was like yeah I am the one that froze the account!!!!!!!! FML!!! She said I froze it today. I was like ummm no. She froze it yesterday. Anyway I didn’t want to take up his time so I got off the phone. Decided to call the branch that never called me
On. I wanted to help you. Fyi. Most of the bankers and managers really did try to assist me. I mean it seems to be the type of bank that I need. I know I am not a big business. I am not important to a bank. They do not care if they have my business. I mean who am I ?
So then I explained to him. In a fast version. Because it was 4:46pm. He was like wow. Let me call the branch. I said speak to the lady that opened it. He said ok. He called. Asked for her. The person that answered said she is gone. He said ok I was calling about this
Be sure. So she never called me back…..😞. So I called the 800 number AGAIN. The guy was like unfortunately ( don’t you hate to hear that word when you talking to a representative). I don’t know what’s going on because your account is restricted. It’s like… is this a secret
