Always knew our 🇰🇪 Kenyan National Anthem was beautiful.
But leading a sold out national stadium made me realize how spiritual and unifying this music is.
When the nation calls , you have to answer.
Thank you to all Kenyans, @Football_Kenya@Harambee__Stars and all another officials.

Why Raila Odinga for African Union Commission Chair. 📸📷
Both Kenya and Prime Minister @RailaOdinga are believers in the Africa renaissance. An Africa that is rising. An Africa that is self-confident. An Africa that will assert its interest more strongly.
Mr. Odinga is a consummate negotiator, a strong leader, a visionary. The AUC requires a leader who has been tested; a leader who will shape the office and give it gravitas and weight.
In the candidature of Hon. Raila Odinga, just like in stronger Kenyan brands, this is another brand for Kenya; a positive brand that will attract good to the country.

The first ever joint EAC-SADC Heads of States Summit convened in Dar es Salaam in the search for peace in Eastern DRC. Despite the complexity of the issues, the meeting proposed tangible outcomes including the merging of the Nairobi-Luanda processes. @ForeignOfficeKE
Arrived in Dar es salaam this evening to prepare for the joint @jumuiya @SADC_News Heads of States Summit on Peace in Eastern DRC. Grateful for Amb. Isaac Njenga’s reception. @Kenyahc_tz @ForeignOfficeKE
We are deeply concerned by the ongoing siege and attacks on Embassy Premises and personnel in Kinshasa, DRC, including the Kenyan, Uganda and South African Embassies, by marauding protesters who are voicing their discontent on the conflict in the Eastern Part of that country. This
development is a serious breach of international law and we condemn it in the strongest terms possible. We call on authorities in DRC to take appropriate action. Kenya stands with the DRC during this challenging time and will use all diplomatic means within its disposal to work with the rest of the region in the search for peace. We implore Kenyan citizens and business people to exercise caution during this period. @ForeignOfficeKE
We are fashioning a more efficient and robust financially-independent and fit-for-purpose African Union that will be more responsive to the continent’s needs.
At the opening session of the Retreat of the Extended Bureau on the Implementation of Institutional Reforms of the African Union, State House, Nairobi.
Presidents Azali Assoumani (Comoros), @USEmbalo (Guinea-Bissau), @TayeAtske (Ethiopia) and @JDMahama (Ghana), and the African Union Commission Chairperson @AUC_MoussaFaki also spoke at the session.
We committed to strategically align our visions, work together to deal with our challenges and seize emerging opportunities to unlock our potential and elevate Africa’s global profile.
The escalating deteriorating peace and security situation in the DRC is of grave concern. The humanitarian crisis is being exacerbated by ongoing military actions, including the closure of airspace in Goma.
I call for the immediate and unconditional cessation of hostilities, emphasise the obligation of all parties to facilitate humanitarian access to affected populations and urge both sides to pursue peaceful means to resolve this tragic conflict.
As chair of the EAC, I call on the parties to the Luanda process and my brothers, President Félix Tshisekedi and President Paul Kagame, both of whom I have spoken to this evening, to heed the call for peace from the people of our region and the international community.
After consulting the Heads of State of EAC Member States, we will convene an Extraordinary Summit in the next 48 hours to chart the way forward.
The EAC stands ready to forge stronger collaboration with the African Union, Southern African Development Community and the international community in encouraging the warring parties to give priority to dialogue.
Join me in congratulating our PR in NY @eelokaale on his appointment as co-facilitator of the implementation of the outcomes of the World Summit on Information Society. A great honor to him and recognition of Kenya’s leadership in technology. @ForeignOfficeKE
This contingent will hasten the pace of stabilization of Haiti under the Kenyan-led Multinational Security Support Mission. Solidarity with Haiti is an imperative which Africa cannot ignore. @ForeignOfficeKE
