I will be the first of many to say that a personal trainers life is hard. Working out is only one piece of work. Marketing is a big part as part of programming and more. Glamour come to the the few.
If one explosive move can get the job done, why do 2 or more! Don’t coach athletes out of efficiency. Don’t make a drill into a circus act or obstacle course. Simple still sells! Especially when a great result is the result!
What's missing in traditional exercise science curriculum in colleges is a course on how to manage teams and large group classes. Traffic flow, drill selection based on size, location, tools, length of drills due to large #'s of athletes, these skills matter more than you think!
Josh Allen🦬 was 6'3" 180#. He hadn't attended elite QB camps & wasn't a widely known prospect. His high school team didn't participate in many 7v7 camps because they were busy playing ⚾️🏀.

Athletes can work on their body all they want but without the mind even stronger, the body won’t be able to perform the task given. Brain first, body second.

Find the path to least resistance and grow from there. As S&C coaches we tend to do the opposite. We have our way but create buy- in first. #child athletes or #athletes in general are willing to do a lot when the like and trust you.
