@Rest1ess1 That’s good advice. We got Albaz and Crystal Beast starters. I realize both are built around their special summons, but he just wants to play monsters in defense position and spring traps. We might need to find more simple decks or accept casual play for a while.

My son is getting into YuGiOh and so I’m trying to learn it to teach him and play with him. Does anybody know of any good new player resources? I got 2 starter decks with an instructional walkthrough but it’s still super complicated.
