@edtechmathteach March definitely hits different. It’s right before spring break which the kids and staff have been waiting for since the holiday break. Things just amp up in March 😫
Today has been a reminder that life happens to all of us whether we want it to or not. Some of my students will be starting this year with A LOT on their tiny shoulders already. Please send positive thoughts our way. We are strong, we are Saunders ❤️
My favorite one though……… “DAMNNNNN Mr. Flores…. you look hella drippy” 😂😂😂. These kids were something else today. Even some of our staff enjoyed the “improved” Mr. Flores 😂
I don’t EVER dress up at work (I just prefer jeans and a tshirt 😂), so when we had ”fancy dress up day” at work today, I decided to play along. What I wasn’t expecting was all the comments like “hey pastor Flores” or “are you getting married or something”….
Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week may be over, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop supporting our educators achieving a #ASeatAtTheTable. Our educators need our support all year long. Help ensure our educators achieve #collectivebargainingnow in PWC. @PrinceWilliamEA
You all truly deserve everything under the sun.
And to a very special first year teacher… you are an amazing person and mommy and I are very proud of you ❤️
THANK YOU to all of our teachers for being amazing superstars ❤️
I was prepared to reflect on some of things that our teachers have gone through this year, but I didn’t want the focus to be on those things that are negative. Instead I want to focus on what I’ve seen day in and day out since August. Since August our teachers have been….
A multitasker…
A reliable coworker…
These teachers are simply amazing and certainly deserve more than a week of recognition. If there was more I could do to help our teachers and the year they have had, like a school counselor, I would do it in a heart beat.
@AnnaMSutter I use to tell myself that middle schoolers were too needy and that I would only ever work with high school students………. Well I have to say that absolutely adore my middle school kiddos and wouldn’t trade it for the world 😀. Certainly extra at times but I still love them 😂
People not understanding why teachers are nervous about being in classrooms right now is the height of people not understanding how schools actually operate.
