@narriestan This is why it’s preemptive. Instead of leaving it open for future potential lawsuits - they’d rather just credit it now. Of course they can fight it, like Katy Perry’s Dark Horse and the way Robin Thicke did and spend $$$$ on legal fees and leave it to the hands of a jury.
