This is what’s burdening my heart. COVID-19 vaccines are injuring and killing people at an alarming rate. I interact with some who are injured by COVID-19 vaccines every night on X’s Stop the Shots (STS) space from 9 pm to midnight EST. During COVID they listened to government officials and your mainstream media colleagues who assured them that COVID-19 “vaccines are safe and effective.” Now they live in pain every day.  

To urge your colleagues here in California to report about those who have been harmed by COVID-19 vaccines, I reached out to two California associations.

In December 2024 I emailed California News Publishers Association (CNPA) President & CEO CEO Charles Ford Champion II and in January 2025 I emailed California Broadcasters Association (CBA) President & CEO Joe Berry that COVID-19 “vaccines are killing people…” at an alarming rate. I noted that Californians have a right to know, and CNPA’s news media members and CBA’s member stations have an ethical and moral obligation to inform them. Hello POLITICO Reporter Lauren Gardner, Washington Post Health and Science Accountability Reporter Lauren Weber, Bloomberg Public Health Reporter Jessica Nix, and New York Times Health Policy Journalist Sheryl Gay Stolberg, I am a California state civil service retiree and California Department of Public Health (CDPH) whistleblower. 

On behalf of the millions of people who were injured or died by vaccines and behalf of the millions of people whose loved ones were injured or died from vaccines, thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU for attending and covering Children’s Health Defense (CHD) conference last weekend. 

Even though I did not attend the CHD event, I obtained your email addresses from Dr. Michael Nevradakis, senior reporter, The Defender, which you probably already know is a CHD news and views website. 

I want to share what’s on my heart. But before I do so I need to provide background information. 

I was a CDPH Information Officer 2 (IO2) for more than 14 years. Between 2022 and 2023 I shared with CDPH management on several occasions what Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra said during a “Convening on Equity” White House virtual summit on April 14, 2022. 

Secretary Becerra said this about COVID-19 vaccines: “We know that vaccines are killing people of color, Blacks, Latinos, Indigenous People at about two times the rate of White Americans.”

My duty as an IO2 necessitated that I inform CDPH management about that Becerra
quote. I did. I also shared COVID-19 vaccine data, which indicated that thousands of Americans suffered allergic reactions, facial paralysis, miscarriages, heart attacks, heart inflammations, seizures, strokes, and sudden deaths from COVID-19 vaccines. 

Unfortunately, CDPH focused on the messenger and not the message, and I was muzzled. Pursuant to the Nuremberg tenet of informed consent, Californians needed to know what I knew so I unmuzzled myself by prematurely retiring from CDPH on December 31, 2023. I immediately incurred a 55 percent pay cut, which was the difference between my salary and pension. 

Since then, I have raised COVID-19 vaccine risks awareness throughout California. I emailed “COVID-19 Vaccine Warning” written notifications to 58 California Board of Supervisors, totaling 296 county-elected, and 62 administratively appointed local officials. I am following up those written notifications with in-person appearances. To date I have ridden 14,487 miles on my Can-Am Spyder—two tires in front one tire in back— motorcycle to 51 out of 58 California counties. I have urged Board of Supervisor members during public comment period to direct their County Health Officer to stop promoting, administering, and distributing COVID-19 vaccines. Butte County resident Julie Threet —who is COVID-19 vaccine injured and almost died last August—has joined me on this stop the COVID-19 stops mission. Threet has also advocated for the COVID-19 vaccine injured at 33 California Board of Supervisor meetings. 

In addition to raising COVID-19 vaccine risk awareness with California Board of Supervisors, I offered public comment before the California Board of Pharmacy (BoP) four times this year. (Threet has spoken before the BoP twelve times.) Furthermore, I provided public comment at FDA's Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee last May. I also provided oral comment to CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices last June.

Even though Dr. Peter McCullough, the world’s most published cardiologist, said Americans have been poisoned by COVID-19 vaccines, he offered them hope.

Diane with Elk Grove Vitamins —she courageously kept her doors open during COVID—and The Wellness Company co-sponsored the November 6, 2025, educational, informative, wholistic treatment and healing event. 

About one third of the Elk Grove, California, audience raised their hands when Dr. McCullough asked if they knew anyone who has been harmed by the COVID-19 vaccines.  

During his approximate one-hour presentation titled: “The New Health Challenge: Vaccines, Spike Proteins, and Cancer,” Dr. McCullough acknowledged the parents of those children who have been harmed by childhood vaccines.  

Along that topic Dr. McCullough said the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act should be repealed. He is also a proponent of removing vaccine mandates, suspending the childhood vaccine schedule, and stopping Big Pharma consumer advertising. 

Dr. McCullough, who is a Christian, noted that many people have faith in vaccines like it’s a religion.

During the Q&A, I shared with attendees that their California Department of Public Health and their Sacramento County Board of Supervisors have not informed them that COVID-19 vaccines are dangerous.
