From Kothagudem, proceeded to Khammam district last night, where I was warmly welcomed by District Collector Shri Divakara, IAS and CP Shri Sunil Dutt, IPS and other higher Officials of district.

Field visits across districts remain central to how I work nothing replaces being present on ground, reviewing preparedness directly, and understanding the challenges specific to each district first hand.

Looking forward to a productive schedule today at Khammam, continuing our focus on law and order, road safety, and community welfare.

BACK TO BASICS. That's what I told officers at Khammam today effective, strong policing built on integrity, visibility, impartiality, and technology.

Chaired a Crime Review Meeting and walked officers through lapses in district crime strategies, advising remedial measures. Financial fraud up 30%, job fraud up 36%, fake document cases rising fast, GST offences now under investigation. Cyber crime has claimed 9.48 crore from 711 victims this year, 1.41 crore recovered so far. On narcotics, 1,700 kg of ganja seized this year Khammam remains one of the highest seizure districts in the State. Inaugurated the Road Safety Park and 250 new CCTVs linked to the district Command Centre, along with the Commissionerate's CCTV Command Facility appreciate citizens who installed cameras in their own villages. Educated students on traffic discipline, distributed helmets. Accidents down sharply 146 this year against 317 last year. Also planted saplings for Vanamahotsavam.

Directions to officers, wage war against narcotics, protect the future generation. Work strictly as per law justice must reach the poor and helpless first. Strengthen night patrolling, enforce strict CCTNS data discipline. No interference in civil and land disputes SOPs without exception. Sand mafia, soil mafia, rowdy elements targeted action, backed by CCTNS 3.0, Hawk Eye 3.0 and TG COPS 3.0. A Traffic Management Bureau, on the lines of EAGLE is coming soon.

Told officers plainly wearing this uniform is a privilege. Only 0.16% of our 4.5 crore population ever gets this chance. Wear it with integrity or don't wear it at all.

I may stop policing one day… but I will never stop playing sports.

Today I inaugurated the 5th Telangana Police Games & Sports Meet 2026 at Saroor Nagar Indoor Stadium, hosted by Malkajgiri Commissionerate. We lit the Sports Torch handed to me by our own national medal-winning RSI Govinda Reddy and declared the meet open with a release of doves and balloons, marking peace, unity and the true spirit of sportsmanship.

After nearly 35 years of holding all our police sporting events at a single venue, we've moved to a new Five-Cluster Model this year to widen participation and identify talent early, on the lines of the All India Police Games

Cluster A- Boxing, Wrestling, Fencing & indoor sports
Cluster B- T-20 Cricket, Future City (17-19 Nov)
Cluster C - Lawn Tennis, Badminton, TG Police Academy (7-9 Sep)
Cluster D - Volleyball, Kabaddi (3-5 Nov)
Cluster E - Canoeing, Kayaking, Cycling, Nizamabad (closing)

21 teams are competing this year Malkajgiri, Warangal, Hyderabad, Future City, Zones I-VII, TGSP Range I & II, Greyhounds, CID & Railways, Intelligence, IT & Communications, RBVP, CBSE/ICCC/Anti-Corruption and TGPMS. Every Commissionerate, Zone and specialized wing represented on one field. We won 21 medals at the last All India Police Games. I want that number to grow with more gold. Government incentives stand firm
Gold -3 lakh + 3 special increments.
Silver - 2 lakh + 2 special increments.
Bronze - 1 lakh + 1 special increment.

My message to every senior officer identify your talented sportspersons, back them with proper nutrition, physiotherapy and structured coaching never treat sports as a waste of time. For me, the game is meditation. It keeps me steady through the most demanding of days, and every officer deserves that outlet too. Glad to have actor Naveen Polishetty with us, who reminded everyone that when people are in trouble, two names come to mind God, and the Police. A truth we carry with pride.

Chaired the Young India Police School Society Committee Meeting today to review YIPS' progress academics, infrastructure and the road ahead. Proud to share that as the school enters its second academic year, enrollment has grown from 345 to 360 students, with classes now extending up to Grade VI. Encouragingly nearly half our students (176) come from non-police families, which is a clear reflection of the growing public trust in YIPS.

Directed officials to expedite the construction of the new 17 classroom academic block within the stipulated timeline. While my vision for YIPS remains clear, it must grow into one of the finest institutions in the country one that nurtures discipline, leadership, moral values, innovation and social responsibility. Quality education backed by world class infrastructure and a safe environment is non negotiable.

Also emphasized the role of sports in building physical fitness, mental well-being and character among our children, while keeping them away from social evils like drug abuse. Approved key committees, Procurement, Academic, Infrastructure & Coordination to strengthen governance and ensure sustained progress.

It was a pleasure meeting our own Deputy Superintendent of Police and international boxing champion, Ms. @nikhat_zareen, along with her father, Mr. Mohammad Jameel Ahmed. Her remarkable achievements have brought immense pride to Telangana, the nation and the Telangana Police.

Drawing from my own experiences as a sportsperson, I shared that success in sports is built on discipline, dedication, physical fitness and mental resilience. I encouraged her to remain focused on her goals, continue striving for excellence and inspire the next generation of athletes through her achievements.

I am confident that Nikhat will continue to bring greater laurels to India, Telangana and the Telangana Police while balancing her responsibilities as a police officer with distinction. Wishing her continued success in every ring she steps into.
