Potter Class have loved their focused week on Supertato and all things superheroes. We’ve learnt that there are so many heroes and helpers in our community too. Not all superheroes wear capes!
Da Vinci class have been studying the Ancient Maya and loved having the chance to ask questions to Maya archaeologist, Dr Diane Davies @mayaarchaeo. They asked excellent questions and learnt lots from the Maya expert!
We were very proud of our Arts Award Club who confidently performed their fantastic dance in assembly to the whole of the Primary phase. They were brilliant and it brought the first half of our summer term to a fabulous finish!

A big well done to our week two award winners. There was also lots of excitement when we spun the Reading Rocket Race Raffle wheel to reveal our winners for Spring Two! We love reading!
On Friday, we celebrated the upcoming Coronation weekend by wearing our wonderful crowns to lunch. We practised our royal waves and enjoyed some music as we ate.
As the Fabulous Finish to their current topic, Curie Class travelled back in time to the 1940s to experience what life would have been like as an evacuee at Holdenby House. We learnt about rationing, how to ‘make do and mend’ and got to sit in an air raid shelter. A fantastic day
Our Year 5 and 6 girls' football team enjoyed their first 7-a-side match this week. They worked extremely hard and won the game 3-0! Well done to them all.
As their Super Start to their new topic, ‘Our School’, Seacole Class enjoyed walking to and touring the Secondary site. They loved seeing familiar staff faces and being toured by Year 8 pupils.
Our pupils’ love of reading just keeps growing! Our wonderful librarian Mrs Savage has issued almost 3,000 more books this year than she did last year. Well done KHP book worms!
