Our Anatomy & Physiology students had the opportunity to observe and dissect a cow femur to observe the different types of bone and marrow present. Some even still had the patella (knee cap) attached with ligaments and tendons! What an experience!

Survival Science is an exciting course! This week students learned the basics of using Flint and Steel to start a fire. They’ll continue to improve their skills throughout the semester. The big takeaway? Building kindling materials up vertically helps and always have water ready!
This week our EMT students participated in a Mock Trial about a faulty AED. Guest “attorneys” Hansel & Tiebout helped out and “Judge Carney” presided. The big takeaway? Proper documentation of rig checks each shift is important! Great job students!
