Last week the @aircadets from @kinghamhillsch enjoyed a fantastic visit to @RAFBrizeNorton, where they were welcomed by numerous sections across the Station and given a flavour of the wide variety of roles that make up the RAF. Thanks to the ACLO team & all involved in the day.

Delighted that the weather held yesterday, allowing three first time flyers from @kinghamhillsch to get airborne in the Viking gliders of @fts_2 @621VGS at Little Rissington. A big thanks to all the volunteer staff required to make it happen. @ComdtAC @aircadets @CCFcadets

The wind got the better of us today preventing the cadets flying, but a huge shout out to the wonderful team at 6 AEF & 28 (AC) Sqn @RAFBenson for putting together an alternative programme and showing the cadets around the Grob Tutor and a Chinook. Very much appreciated! @OC6AEF

Term finished at School with Enrichment Week activities for the RAF cadets, seeing them shoot on the range, build fires to cook, undertake a variety of adventurous activities & visit the @sciencemuseum in London. Thank you to all involved for making it a fantastic week.@aircadets

Fantastic to get recruits flying with @OC6AEF at @RAFBenson on Thursday. The weather wasn’t so kind later on with the wind increasing out of limits, but our two first time flyers had an amazing time & huge smiles. McDonald’s kept the others happy too! @CCFcadets @aircadets

Last night saw @KHSCCF celebrate our most senior cadets with a BBQ and the Mafia game. We wanted to pay thanks to them for the help they give the @kinghamhillsch staff over the year and also present our Upper Sixth leavers with a Contingent coin to remember their time with us by.

A break in the weather finally came, allowing four of our new intake of @aircadets to take to the skies for the first time yesterday with the amazing staff team from @621VGS and #637VGS. They loved their gliding experiences, especially the exhilaration of the launch. @CCFcadets

Recruit Camp last week saw the RAF section of the @kinghamhillsch @CCFcadets visit the @RAFMUSEUM & @bletchleypark in support of the Part 1 & Cyber syllabi, in addition to learning field craft, land nav, radios, first aid & passing their WHT. Well done all! #teamwork @aircadets

Congratulations to all our 3rd Form Cadets for completing the first stages of their training and attending their Passing out Parade. We were delighted that US Air force Lt. Col. Christopher Hergenreter was able to join us to inspect the Recruits and present the Awards.

Today 4 of our @aircadets joined 4 cadets from @CotswoldSchool @CCFcadets on a joint trip to @OC6AEF @RAFBenson. The cadets all took part in safety training, prior to an air experience flight in the Grob Tutor. Smiles all round on landing, followed by a celebratory McDonalds!

Friday Futures Day @airtattoo with the @CCFcadets was a rather soggy one, but the Techno Zone & Inspire Stage with @astro_timpeake were well enjoyed. The Danish F-16 display was incredible given the weather & the cadets were still smiling. I have finally dried out! #britishsummer

A big shout out to the staff of @632VGS & #637VGS at Little Rissington for going way beyond yesterday to get our @CCFcadets @aircadets gliding. With rain & gusts all afternoon they launched at 1700 with all 9 cadets completing their Blue Wings by 1900. Thanks for your dedication.
