In Computing we have been exploring how to program the Bee-Bots. The children had lots of fun making challenging routes to follow!

We have had a wonderful European Day of Languages, learning all about Portugal. We had a special visitor this morning who taught us a Portuguese song. We even tried pastel de nata for our snack. The children all looked amazing in red and green. 🇵🇹

Today in Maths the children sorted objects in different ways.

In our forest lesson this afternoon we went for a nature walk to collect leaves and printed our muddy hand prints on our forest banner. 🍂

We continued to explore Peepo today, looking carefully at the rooms in the story and comparing them to our own homes. The children were amazing history detectives finding clues that show that the story is set in the past.

We had an exciting day today, our first phonics lesson and first trip to the forest! 🍃

Today, we went for a walk around the school grounds and found out the address of our school. The children enjoyed an ice lolly for their snack this afternoon to cool down. We have had a wonderful week. Have a lovely weekend. ☀️

We started learning the story of the ‘Little Red Hen’ today. The children also explored inside the wider school building and created maps to help them navigate their way to different places.
