But there is a reason why top players come to United and do so poor, they’re used to higher and more frequent training sessions. They come to United and their performances drop from poor training.

@markgoldbridge Aside from the incompetent owners we have, we have known for a long time now that we don’t have a squad to play modern pressing. At least since Ragnick was here. Carrick should have never decided on having fewer training sessions and less intense training.

@ammandev Yes I agree completely with you Dev. When Carrick took over as caretaker he reduced the amount of training sessions and the intensity of the training. Aside from the ownership we’ve known that our squad has lacked the fitness levels of an elite team.

@ammandev Carrick is responsible for this. The team fitness levels are low compared to last season. When he was appointed caretaker one of his decisions was to lessen the amount and intensity of the training done under Amorim. No wonder the team struggles in the second halves.

@ammandev I think recruiting a lot of players from foreign leagues is why we have struggled so badly in the league. But that’s also why we have been so good in Europe. I remember the days when we would be picking up talents from the league and maybe one or two foreign players.

@markgoldbridge Seriously Mark! What on earth was he thinking. If he makes these errors it will end up being Ten Hag 2.0 another young hipster coach who comes in buys players for his system, he makes tactical errors in key matches, starts to lose the team and then he’s gone.
