@TheepK Great question. Police say one vehicle slammed on their brakes for the pair, and THAT vehicle blocked the vision of the other vehicle. They didn't assume the car was stopping for pedestrians since there was no crosswalk there.

KPD says the mother and daughter hit on Clearwater yesterday were released from the hospital this morning. Because they were jaywalking the driver was not cited.
