You don’t have to love his politics, I am also not a fan but I am not delusional enough to dismiss his political clout.
A man that has beaten APC in “three” election cycles isn’t a push over and must be accorded the respect he deserves because he has rightfully earned it.
Whether he eventually moves to APC or not is immaterial, he remains the clear favorite to win Osun governorship election this very moment.
Adeleke, the same man Osun APC would have gladly welcomed into the party. But, someonewanted to the Governor. This is a man who swept almost every electable seat in Osun and even delivered the state for Atiku against Tinubu. Don’t play with Adeleke, he is a serious political force in Osun.
I think H2H rule is fairer. It rewards the team that performed better against its direct rivals, rather than the team that scored the most goals against the weakest side. In this rare scenario, their results against one another should determine who deserves to advance not goal difference from weaker team.
@iamtbabz@OpeBee APC doesn't need to win Kano on presidential election. 40% of the votes is a win for APC. NDC might get 50% and ADC 10%. However, selling Peter Obi in kano will be a challenge.
